TALYBONT crashed out of the Emrys Morgan Cup with an emphatic 9-0 defeat to Montgomeryshire Amateur League division two high-fliers Forden United.

The twice-postponed fixture was switched to the 3G pitch at Park Avenue, and it was Forden to who took full control of the match, with Christian Webster leading the way with a hat-trick.

Josh Gethin and Ryan Jenkins both scored twice, whilst Kie Evans and Michael Henderson-Smith also netted.

Forden will go on to face holders Llandysul in the last 32 of the competition.
