TREGARON Turfs went goal crazy in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League as they hit 12 without reply against Aberystwyth University Reserves at Park Avenue in Division One.

The students were taught a hard lesson as the Turfs found the back of the net at regular intervals with Cledan Davies (4), Rhun Garner (3), Daniel Owen (2), Dylan Davies and Caradog Daniel all on target and an own goal also contributing towards the dozen.

Talybont’s match at Bont was postponed because of the inclement weather, while, in Division Two, Aberystwyth University Thirds also suffered a hiding, losing out 6-2 against Padarn United Reserves.
