TYWYN/BRYNCRUG were left to rue letting a two-goal lead slip as they were pegged back to a 2-2 draw at home to Radnor Valley in the Spar Mid Wales League division one last weekend.

Rhayader Town meanwhile made it three wins from three as they beat Llanrhaeadr 2-0, to end the visitors’ own 100 per cent record.
Matty Lewis opened the scoring for the Red Kites, who were relegated from the Cymru Alliance last season, and in the second half Dane Griffiths fired the winner from a tight angle.

Churchstoke registered a 3-2 win at Newbridge, courtesy of two goals from Joe Haycock and a late headed winner from Jay Bishop. Matt Aubrey and Kejan Foryszewski netted the replies.
