FIRE crews are tackling a grass fire in Cwmrheidol near Aberystwyth.
Emergency services were first called to the scene east of Aberystwyth at around 3pm on Monday and are still in attendance.
A helicopter has been requested to dampen down the land due to its location.

A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service are currently in attendance of a grass fire in Cwmrheidiol, Aberystwyth.
Joint Fire Control received the first call at 15:02hrs on Tuesday 18th July 2022 and crews from Aberystwyth were deployed. A helicopter was requested to help dampen down, due to location.
This incident is ongoing.”
