A man who had his car seized told police he was teaching himself to drive to save money.

North Wales Police Roads Crime Unit said they “had to take this vehicle off the road after discovering the driver did not have a valid driving licence”.

“Turns out, he was trying to teach himself to drive to save money - putting both himself and other road users at serious risk,” the police spokesperson added.

“Driving without a licence isn’t just dangerous, it’s illegal.”
