Investigations are continuing after a female motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital following a crash in Bow Street yesterday [Wednesday, 5 August].
Dyfed-Powys Police said an investigation is ongoing and has appealed for witnesses.
A police spokesperson said the white Kawasaki ER650 motorcycle is believed to have collided with the railway bridge between Bow Street and the Commins Coch junction around 1.20pm.
The female rider was airlifted to hospital where she continues to receive treatment.
The A487 between Bow Street and the top of Penglais Hill in Aberystwyth was closed while emergency services attended the scene and reopened at around 4.35pm.
