POLICE have cracked down on crime in Tywyn after a spate of incidents in the area.

North Wales Police have charged a 27-year-old Tywyn man following a burglary at the Neptune Club a few weeks ago and, in a separate incident, a 30-year-old man, also living in the town, has been arrested for a burglary at a café on Tywyn promenade

In the first incident, officers were called to the address during the early hours of Tuesday, 17 October following reports of a break-in a local man was arrested and charged.

He will appear before Caernarfon Magistrates on 6 November.

In the second incident, a cafe burglary took place during the early hours of 11 October. A man has since been released under investigation and enquiries continue into the matter.

North Wales Police would like anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed events to contact them on 101.
