A large amount of money has been stolen from a Ceredigion cashpoint in the early hours of this morning.

Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole from an ATM at a CK’s store in Tanygroes on the A487, north of Cardigan

Dyfed Powys Police said today: “A large quantity of money was stolen from an ATM at CK’s store in the early hours of this morning.

“We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area - or travelling through - between 12.30am and 3.30am today (Tuesday, 15 September).

Detective Inspector Gary Williams added: “We are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was driving on the main A487 coast road between these times, including those who may have dash cam footage that could help us.

“Anybody with any information is asked to contact Cardigan CID department quoting incident number DP-20200915-045.”
