A FUND-RAISING event was held in a Porthmadog supermarket for the local Ysgol Feithrin. As part of their Helping the Community promise, Tesco’s dairy team raised £389.09 in one day by selling cakes. Simon Herbert, manager of Tesco in Porthmadog said: “It is fantastic that so many people got behind this latest community project and all helped to raise such a lot of money in one day for a good local cause. “We are looking to help other local projects throughout next year by either raising money or getting out there and supporting whatever needs doing”.
