ABERYSTWYTH’S annual Bonfire night fireworks display will be going ahead this year, organisers have confirmed.

Aberystwyth Roundtable announced this afternoon that the annual fireworks display to mark Guy Fawkes night will be going ahead this year on Friday, 5 November.

The event will return to Aberystwyth Rugby Club after last year’s display was cancelled due to coronavirus restrictions and the Roundtable says this year’s event ‘promises to be our best display yet.’

The event starts at 5pm with a host of food and drink stalls along with other attractions in the rugby ground car park before the display, which starts at 7.30pm.

In a post to social media, the Roundtable said: “Aberystwyth RoundTable is happy to welcome back Aberystwyth Fireworks Display.

“After a year out, this year promises to be our best display yet, and we will be including a pyrotechnics fire display.

“Join us at Aberystwyth Rugby club on Friday, 5 November, from 5pm to enjoy food/drink and more, prior to our display starting at 7:30pm.”
