A book about a serial killer with connections to Blaenau Ffestiniog will launch online this Friday.

‘The Man in Black – Peter Moore: Wales’ Worst Serial Killer’ by Dylan Jones will launch live on Zoom at 6pm.

Former criminal defence lawyer, Dylan Rhys Jones, will take part in a Q&A on his new book, detailing his experience of defending the serial killer who owned cinemas, including one in Blaenau.

Moore, who was found guilty in 1996 of murder, was referred to by the judge when sentencing as ‘as dangerous a man as it is possible to find’.

He has apparently written to the author and publishers, Y Lolfa, to say he is not happy with the release of the book.
