Senior Citizens

AT THE meeting on 15 October, members were pleased to once again welcome the children of Ysgol Craig yr Wylfa school who entertained members with songs in both Welsh and English.

Solos were performed by Oliver on the cornet and Phoebe on the flute. The children were thanked by Brian and invited to enjoy the refreshments which members had prepared for them.

At the following meeting on 29 October members voted to go to Telford for the Christmas shopping trip at the end of the month.

Members were asked to give books, puzzles and costume jewellery for their stall at the Charities Fair on 5 December.The menu for the Christmas meal at Llety Parc on 10 December was circulated for everyone to choose their meal.

At the next meeting Joy will be taking names of members who are going to the pantomime – Beauty and the Beast – at the Arts Centre in January.The next meeting will be in Borth Hall on Thursday, 12 November, when members are looking forward to welcoming Penglais Brass Band.
