A BRAVE couple from Dre-fach Felindre, near Llandysul trusted a team of celebrities, including a glamour model from Penrhyncoch, with the most important day of their lives.

S4C celebrity cookery competition Pryd o Sêr reaches a dramatic climax on Sunday (21 February), as the stars prepare food for Siân Thomas and Gethin Williams’ wedding reception.

Presenter Emma Walford and chef Dudley Newbery will be keeping an eye on the contestants, including model Jess Davies, to see if their culinary efforts will fall as flat as a pancake.

Far from being nervous about handing over the catering to a team of celebrities, bride Siân was relieved.

“It’s such a stress to find a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses so handing someone the responsibility to organise our food was a blessing.” she said.

“We hadn’t planned to get married so quickly but when we found out that the Pryd o Sêr stars were looking for a local couple to take part in the show, we wanted to do it. We thought it would be a laugh to get to know the stars and that we’d have a brilliant experience.”
