Carolyn Parry, founder director and lead coach of Career Alchemy which is based at Penuwch, received the PRIME Cymru Business Start-up award from the Prince in 2016.
And last month she met up with Prince Charles again at his home in Llwynywermod, near Llandovery, to be awarded the PRIME Cymru Growth Business Award 2019.
“I never dreamt for one minute that I would win a second award, leave alone be invited for tea at his house to receive it!” she said.
Career Alchemy use their research-proven INSPiRED Career and Life Coaching framework to develop programmes to help clients via education, third sector and business organisations as well as individual clients to develop purpose-driven careers and gain the career management skills they need to thrive in the rapidly-changing world of work so they can live fulfilling and successful lives.
“In the last 12 months alone turnover has grown by two thirds,” said Carolyn. “Career Alchemy has provided careers information online to nearly 93,000 parents/carers and their teenagers and won contracts and funding from organisations such as top management consultancy EY, Unilever, third sector organisations such as NESTA and Creative and Cultural Skills, and education clients including Aberystwyth and Northampton Universities which have enabled us to work directly with 743 graduates and professionals to help them create fulfilling careers.”
