Stock has been cleared and doors closed yesterday at a chain store on Aberystwyth’s high street.

The Pandora shop on Great Darkgate Street was cleared out on Monday after weeks of rumours that the store would become the latest casualty on the high street.

The company has not responded to any enquiries over its potential closure made by the Cambrian News over the last few weeks, and have not confirmed that the store will permanently close.

Elsewhere, a restaurant on Eastgate, Jack’s Pie – which opened less than a year ago – has also closed its doors, with a notice from the landlord that they had “re-entered and secured” the premises.
