FOR the past 15 years, Mo Ains­cough has organised the monthly farmers’ market at Dolgellau.

Rain or shine on the third Sunday of every month visitors and local residents have benefited from being able to browse and buy produce, plants and crafts in the town square, often made locally.

Mo has carried out her role under the auspices of the Dolgellau Partnership but now feels the time has come for her to retire from her role, to allow her to focus on other things.

During the last few months members of Dolgellau Partnership have been making various enquiries but to date no replacement for the role has come to light.

In the absence of a replacement organiser to Mo, the last Farmers Market in Dolgellau will be on 17 December.
