THE “hard working” staff at the Bala branch of a housing association have been praised for their commitment.
Employees of housing association Grwp Cynefin have been lauded for their high standards of work and commitment to providing the best service possible for customers.
Chief executive Walis George thanked the 200-strong team, as he announced it had been awarded accreditation to Investors In People (IIP).
The IIP is an international standard, demonstrating an organisation’s commitment to high performance through good people management.
Grwp Cynefin, whose main offices are in Llangefni, Penygroes, Denbigh and Bala, manages over 3,800 homes for rent, and an additional 700 intermediate market homes for people who cannot buy a suitable home on the open market.
Grwp Cynefin is also responsible for social enterprises and community projects, including Canolfan Fenter Congl Meinciau enterprise centre in Botwnnog.
IIP assessors ran an online survey of Grwp Cynefin employees, before interviewing a sample of 24 from across the organisation, along with the vice chair of the board and a non-executive director.
Assessors also observed staff at work in different offices, and the reception given to them upon arrival at each office.
