A MEIRIONNYDD holiday lettings agency has been recognised as the best in Wales.

Tywyn and Barmouth based Lounge Holidays won their accolade in the National Holiday Lettings Agency of the Year category of the acclaimed Landlord and Letting Awards.

They achieved their title last month at a sparkling awards ceremony in The Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

Owner Iain Paterson was delighted with his staff.

“We are thrilled to pick up such a prestigious award, it really is testament to all our hard work and commitment,” he told the Cambrian News.

“We had to collect a whole load of positive references from our clients and our landlords, so we’ve got them to thank too, we’re lucky to work with so many excellent people in south Gwynedd.
