A BLAENAU Ffestiniog couple have slammed a telecoms company after they left them without internet or a phone line for over a month.
Stephen Chesworth and his wife, Linda, who run Amazing Drapes, have been without a working landline and internet since 24 April after asking BT to transfer their phone line and internet connection from their business to their home nearby.
The couple have been visited by three BT Openreach engineers but are frustrated that they are still not connected and say it is having an impact on their business.
Mr Chesworth said: “We thought it would be a simple thing for BT to carry out as our house is only 50 yards away from our shop.
“But it’s been over a month now and we’re still nowhere near finding out when we will have a phone line and internet connection in our home."
A spokesperson for BT said: “We’re sorry that the transfer of Mr Chesworth’s landline and broadband service has taken a little longer than usual to process.
“We can confirm that both his landline and broadband have now been transferred but Mr Chesworth is still experiencing problems with his broadband."
