A PWLLHELI holiday park has invested over £1 million to bring a touch of luxury to the site.

Haven’s Hafan y Môr holiday park in Pwllheli is introducing a new luxury lodge development, called The Fairways, with 20 extra bases set around a stunning purpose-built lake.

Andrew Baker, park general manager, said: “We are very excited to introduce this luxurious new development, it forms part of a larger investment of £5.5m that focuses on evolving the park to meet the needs of the modern-day holidaymaker and holiday home owner.”

Hafan y Môr is one of Haven’s largest holiday parks, as well as being the largest single self-catering holiday provider in north Wales and the largest employer in Gwynedd.

The park, which was formerly the Butlins site is home to the largest indoor pool complex in north Wales, Splashaway Bay, which won the coveted Holiday Park Swimming Pool of the Year at the UK Pool & Spa Awards 2017.
