A MEIRIONNYDD business is doing its bit to help save the planet.

Aberdyfi Village Stores, at the wharf, have taken the plunge and are fighting back against the war on plastics.

This week the store re-introduced “rinse and return” bottles of milk in the old fashioned way, cutting out the need to purchase ‘one use’ plastic bottles.

The store management are fully aware of the newly formed groups Greener Tywyn, and Tywyn Beach Guardians, and are taking steps to help ensure a greener future.
