WALES’ ‘Spa of the Year’ is in the running to maintain its title for the second year in a row.
The spa at the Macdonald Plas Talgarth Resort, located on the banks of the Dyfi estuary, has reached the finals of the Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards taking place in Cardiff on 21 May.
The health and leisure club aim to maintain their title as ‘Spa of the Year’, which they successfully took home last year.
As the “biggest and most highly anticipated event” in the Welsh hair and beauty industry, a glamorous awards ceremony will take place in the capital city to unveil the highest standard of spa and beauty expertise in Wales.
Staff from the spa at Macdonald Plas Talgarth will be attending this glitzy event for the second time as the winner of 2016’s Spa of the Year award.
Carly Rimmer, spa manager, was thrilled with the nomination. She said: “We’re thrilled that we have yet again made it to the finals of the Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards.
“We work hard to deliver the highest standards of customer service and professional treatments, and achieving awards only encourages us to continue delivering excellence.”
