A TYWYN health bar manufacturer has secured a contract to have its produce sold in Co-op stores across Wales.
Wild Trail will have three flavours of its healthier snack bar range stocked in the local produce section of Co-op stores in Wales.
Wild Trail, part of Tywyn-based specialist snack bar manufacturer Brighter Foods, launched its healthier snack bar range in summer 2016.
Made from just five ingredients, all Wild Trail’s bars are gluten free, dairy free, no added sugar, high in fibre and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Wild Trail’s bars were the first trail bars to be topped with whole fruit and nut pieces and are available in 46g single bars and 4x30g multipacks. Four flavours are currently available: Apple, Cacao, Carrot Cake and Seed & Nut.
The bars are currently retailed in Tesco (UK-wide), Co-op (Wales), Ocado, Amazon and a range of independent shops, delicatessens and cafes, sports and activity centres, universities and colleges.
Wild Trail’s Carrot Cake bar was winner of the Nourish Awards ‘People’s Choice Award’ 2018. Wild Trail’s Seed & Nut bar received a Bronze Award at the 2017 FreeFrom Food Awards, Commended at the 2017 People’s Choice! Quality Food Awards and Highly Commended at the 2016 Good Choice!
