National Theatre Wales
In conjunction with the NHS 70 years’ celebrations, National Theatre Wales will be performing at the Memorial Hall on 4 and 5 July at 8pm.
The play is called Cotton Fingers and is a coming of age story about the cycles of secrecy and the power young women hold over their futures.
Tickets are on the NTW website; discounts for all NHS employees.

Bridge club
THIS week’s winners, scoring 70.1 per cent, were Dai Hayes and Dylan Raw Rees. Second were Mair Harrison and Chris Dennis, and third Herbie Rowley and Nigel Symons Jones.
Aberaeron Bridge Club meets in the Royal British Legion Hall each Thursday at 6.40pm – newcomers are eagerly welcomed.
Afternoon tuition for beginners and improvers will resume on 27 June at 1pm on Wednesdays in the Feathers Hotel.
