Bowling Club

IT’S been a busy few weeks including the open day which was enjoyed by all and resulted in two new members joining the club.

The men’s round robin was played on 20 April resulting in Dave Evans and John Coward in the final. It was a very close match with Dave Evans, club captain, victorious.

On 4 May, Christine Palmer and Mike Williams played in the final of the Roy Morton Shield, again a very good match with Christine coming out the winner.

Saturday, 11 May was the turn of the ladies who took part in their round robin. Rose Martin and Christine Palmer played in the final, with Rose Martin the winner.
