Bowling Club IT’S been a busy few weeks at the bowling club. The lovely weather for the open say was enjoyed by all and resulted in two new members joining the club.

The Men’s Round Robin was played on 20 April resulting in Dave Evans and John Coward in the final.

It was a very close match with Dave Evans, club captain, being the winner.

On 4 May, Christine Palmer and Mike Williams played in the final of the Roy Morton Shield, again a very good match with Christine finishing first.

Saturday, 11 May was the turn of the ladies who took part in the Ladies Round Robin.

Rose Martin and Christine Palmer played in the final, and Rose Martin came through the winner.
