Council

The council has declared a vacancy in the Conglywal ward following the resignation of Cllr Steffan Richards.
Regarding the Community WIFI, information has been received that the majority of the forms for businesses had been completed and it is hoped that the scheme would move forward soon.
With Gwynedd Council requesting for the town council to consider taking ownership of the public toilets the town council Amenities Committee has recommended to invite Gwynedd Council officers to discuss this further and also discuss the transfer of the skate park and the Oakeley Square field to the town council.
They currently pay £1 and £10 per annum of rent on these fields and the cost of administering the rent is much higher than the value of the rent to both councils and this has been accepted by the town council.
