FOLLOWING the closure of Abbeyfield T? Meurig, members of the Friends of Abbeyfield committee distributed the outstanding balance of their fundraising account to various charities within the town.

Last week, presentations took place for the following: £500 each to Uned Meirion Dolgellau Hospital and Cyfeillion Cefn Rodyn Dolgellau; and a further £321 to the local Age Well Group.

The Friends of Abbeyfield would like to thank everyone for their continued support during the 50 years of the Abbeyfield Society in Dolgellau.
