THE APRIL meeting consisted of the usual business and the guest speaker Vicki Hayes’ talk on ‘ladies underwear’ in the historical context, was both entertaining and informative.

Competition winners were: 1 Susan; 2 Elizabeth; 3 Celia Lewis.

The May meeting was a mystery trip organised be Jane Kerr and Ann Morgan, the travel guides. The scenic route through beautiful countryside to Tywyn and Talyllyn train station was a delight. Members ended the day at Ffostrasol Arms.

Next meeting at the Tysul Hall on 7 June with Melinda ‘Murder at the Met’.

Church Services

SUNDAY, 10 June – 10am, Gwyl Gorawl Emlyn; 10.30am, Communion; 2.30pm, singing festival with crafts for the children at the hall.

Carnival

THE next meeting will be on Wednesday, 6 June at the Half Moon at 7.30pm.

Powerhouse

A CONCERT will be held at the Powerhouse on Friday, 8 June in the company of Fran and Flora at 7pm.
