Carnival

A MEETING was held at the Half Moon to discuss this year’s carnival and all were in agreement that the carnival should be held on 1 July.Many suggestions were made for extra events throughout the week, with the queen’s dance being held on 4 May at 5pm with a disco.The next meeting will be held on Thursday, 23 March, at 8pm.

Taith gerdded

Clwb Hanes

AN interesting evening was held at the Tysul Hall on Wednesday, 22 February, in the company of Tom Petts, who explained about The Royal Commission’s online services. The next meeting will be on 29 March in the company of Barbara Davies, who will talk about memories of the evacuees, at 7.30pm at the Tysul Hall.

Bowls club

THERE will be bingo at the Cymdeithas Chwaraeon Pavilion on Friday, 17 March, at 8pm.
