ON Saturday, 3 March, the running of the library with volunteers will be celebrated with a short ceremony outside the library followed by tea and coffee and cakes in the Church Hall.

Ruth Jones (library campaigner, writer, and actor whose work you may know from Gavin and Stacey and Stella) has been invited to cut the ribbon.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 11.30am so attendees should arrive in good time beforehand.

On 24 February, there will be a clean-up outside the library.

Bring gloves, bin bags, brushes, tools for weeding etc.

On 3 March, the library is looking for people to make or bring cakes and biscuits for after the ceremony.

He’ll be talking to Llandysulians about Llandysul.

On 21 February, at 7.30pm there will be a library volunteers’ meeting in the Porth Hotel, Llandysul.
