THE choir meets every Thursday evening at 7.30pm in Clatter Community Hall.

The friendly, mixed choir, conducted by Graham Marshman, sing a varied programme of music – some Welsh, some English – and perform regularly.

Lovelight Christmas Concert

A CELEBRATION to support everyone affected by cancer and to remember loved ones lost takes place at St Idloes Church on Thursday, 13 December, at 7.30pm.

It will feature Sing With Us Llanidloes Choir, David Hilliard on guitar and harpist Harriet Earis.

THERE will be bingo at the bowling club on Wednesday, 12 December.

Doors open at 7.30pm, eyes down at 8pm.

Christmas tree festival

BUSINESSES and organisations in Llanidloes are once again invited to take part in a Christmas tree festival to take place in St Idloes Church from 7 to 11 December.

Rotary Club

THE club is delighted to report that the coffee morning on 10 November in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind raised £304.31.

Meanwhile, the bucket collection at the fireworks display on 5 November raised £1,547.
