Bingo
BINGO at the Rugby Club Llanidloes on Wednesday, 9 May in aid of Llanidloes British Legion. Starts 7.30pm, entry 50p includes tea/coffee and biscuit.
Food Festival
SATURDAY, 12 May at the community centre, from 10am to 4pm, there will be talks, cooking demos and stalls in a celebration of plant-based food.
This is also part of National Vegetarian Week and food festival activities during the week 12-20 May. There will be cooking classes, farm visits and gardening classes and even a Big Farm Picnic on Sunday, 20 May at Cae Felyn, Old Hall, from 11.30am to 3.30pm.

Only Legs Aloud
ON Saturday, 21 April 50 members, partners, patients and volunteers went to Hereford, the Wye Vale Garden Centre and the Elan Valley Hotel in Rhayader.
Friends Together
JOIN everyone on the second Wednesday of each month at St Idloes Church Hall, 2pm-2.30pm, or any part of that time. Meet friends, have a cup of tea – open to everyone of all ages.
Explorer Scouts
FOUR Explorer Scouts enjoyed a fabulous day at Windsor Castle on Sunday, 23 April. They participated in a parade for those across the UK who had attained the Queen’s Scout Award.
A review by Princess Beatrice and Bear Grylls gave time for each participant to share their stories.
The atmosphere and sights were quite splendid. A reflective and celebratory service took place in the chapel. There were eight Queen’s Scouts from Wales – four from Llanidloes.
