THE organisers of the bread and cheese tea – a joint effort by the Church in Wales and Carmel, Presbyterian Church of Wales during Christian Aid week - wish to thank all those who supported the effort to raise funds for Christian Aid.

This year, £670 was raised.

The money raised will be used specifically to support and care for pregnant women, especially in childbirth, in Sierra Leone, which is the most dangerous place to become a mother and where ten women die every day giving birth.
