THE May meeting was held on Monday and as it was a bank holiday, many members were missing having made other arrangements for the weekend.

The guest speaker was Delyth Rowlands, one of the members’ daughters, who gave an interesting insight into her work as a television and film extra.

She has worked on many well-known programmes, such as Holby City, Midsomer Murders and Call the Midwife.

She was also asked to appear in Pobol y Cwm with a speaking part, which she said she enjoyed.

Much of her work has been just appearances, but lately she has done film work with speaking parts.

Delyth Jenkins thanked her for coming before everyone enjoyed a cup of tea and biscuits.

The competition was also won by Delyth Jenkins.
