The members met on 4 December to celebrate Christmas with a dinner held at Gareth’s restaurant in Lampeter.

Delyth Jenkins welcomed everyone before Enfys Morgan said grace. After lunch the monthly letter was read and discussed.

The competition was for the best-wrapped Christmas gift.

Everyone would compete and then the gifts were given out to each member.

The winners were: 1. Sue Howells; 2. Maureen Witt; 3. Enfys Morgan.

Also a silver salver was presented to the member who had won most competitions during the year.

First prize went to Delyth Jenkins, with Maureen Howells second and Maureen Witt third.

The afternoon came to an end with Delyth thanking Gareth for a very nice lunch and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Next meeting will be 7 January at 2pm.
