Council meeting

MACHYNLLETH Town Council will be holding its next ordinary monthly meeting at Plas Machynlleth on Monday, 29 January at 6.30pm.

Formal notice of the meeting will be affixed to the council’s notice boards in front of the town library and in Plas foyer.

Public and press are welcome to attend.

AGM

ON Tuesday 9 January Pennal’s Tuesday Club held their AGM.

The new committee was elected as follows: Bob Dunn, chairman; John Hoyle, treasurer; and committee members Margaret Hughes, Cilla Connor, Anwen Jones, and Joan Bedford.

The vacant club secretary role was not filled and has been added to the agenda for the February meeting.

Clwb Maglona

MEMBERS of Clwb Maglona – Bro Dyfi Senior Citizens – are holding their monthly meeting for January at the Machynlleth Bowling Club on Thursday, 25 January at 2pm.

The afternoon will comprise of the group’s AGM 2018 and a session of the ever-popular bingo.
