Walkers

TWENTY four walkers with five dogs met at Llanerchaeron National Trust car park on Saturday, 24 November, for a six-mile circular walk to Aberaeron.

The weather was mild and cloudy but dry throughout.

The route began with a climb through woods in late autumn colours to Lan Las following which field paths were negotiated passing the farms at Llety Shôn and Mwythig to reach country lanes which led down to Aberaeron..

After a picnic lunch the walkers returned to Llanerchaeron along well trodden paths through woods and fields, most of the time bordering the north side of Afon Aeron.

The day finished with tea, snacks at the National Trust cafeteria.

The next walk on Saturday, 15 December, is a-six mile circular walk in the Lampeter and Falcondale area.

Meet at Lampeter’s Rookery car park at 10.30am.
