Sailing
COMPETITORS in the New Quay Yacht Club Frostbite Dinghy Series enjoyed being out on the water in the spring sunshine on Sunday, 11 March.
The easterly breeze with occasional strong gusts made for exciting sailing. Two races were completed. Results: Race 10: 1 Tim Jeremy, Pico; 2 Crawford Mcleary, Laser; 3 Hannah Schaffer / Jennifer Davies, Laser 2000. Race 11: 1 Tim Jeremy, Pico; 2 Hannah Schaffer / Jennifer Davies, Laser 2000.
The next races are on 25 March.
Camera Club
ON Thursday evening, seven members of the Camera Club attended a four-way PDI competition in Carmarthen, between Tenby, Cardigan, Carmarthen and ourselves.
Tenby emerged as worthy winners.
At the next meeting, on 15 March at 7.30pm, in the Memorial Hall the guest speaker will be professional photographer, Chris Warren, for an evening entitled ’30 years and Counting’ a journey though the changes in photography though this time.
