THE annual shopping trip to Trostre on Thursday, 22 November, was enjoyed by all who went.
The coach left Tregaron just after 10am and it was a smooth run to Llanelli.
The shopping trip went well and the day ended with a meal at Lloyd’s in Lampeter.
Lunch at Y Talbot on 28 November was attended by 33 members, who enjoyed a nice lunch.
The entertainment was given by Donald Morgan. He produced three wonderful floral arrangements; one consisted of two parts so there were four arrangements to be raffled.
One tip Donald gave members was that if they get lily pollen on their clothes, they should dab it off with a piece of Sellotape wound around their fingers.
The next lunch is the Christmas lunch on Wednesday, 12 December. Let Delyth know soon if you would like to attend.

Tackle the Turkey Trek is one of the club’s annual walks that brings people of all ages together for a festive footpath foray.
This was the club’s first walk back in 2003 and attracted 90 walkers on that cold day.
This is a chance to make the most of an opportunity to meet new and old friends while taking in the great views the walk affords.
The club’s faithful toy turkey, Terwyn, will join them too. He was the last turkey to be sold by Woolworths in December 2008.
A warm welcome will await the group on their return to Y Talbot.
The meeting point is outside Y Talbotat 10.30am.
The walk is scheduled to last approximately three hours, is graded moderate and will cover five miles with an ascent of 1,240 feet.
