TWENTY-NINE members attended the lunch on Wednesday, 27 November in Y Talbot.

They had a pleasant meal and the entertainment was provided by Donald Morgan, who produced three displays, which he raffled.

On 4 December, a group of 20 members visited Ysbyty Cynfyn Church to see their Christmas displays.

The theme this year was ‘My Favourite Hymn’ and there were some lovely exhibits.

They were well provided for with cawl, bread and cheeses, mince pies, cakes and tea or coffee and they had a short service to celebrate the season.

The Christmas lunch was held on 11 December in Y Talbot and 30 members attended.

The committee had decorated the hall and tables beautifully and provided crackers, chocolates and mince pies for the members.

The club also paid half the cost of the meal as a Christmas gift.

It was a delicious meal, turkey with all the trimmings followed by Christmas pudding and rum sauce.

Santa also attended and gave each member a selection of fresh fruit.

The afternoon ended with carol singing.
