A BARMOUTH man has been recognised for his commitment to the town.

Harry Allday is pictured receiving a framed picture of Barmouth Bridge from the town council, for his long service, dedication and hard work for the town.

Mr Allday has been the Barmouth mayor five times and served as a councillor for over 30 years.

He is pictured with Barmouth mayor Cllr Rob Triggs.
