A COMEDIAN’s tweet about a dragon which appeared at a holiday home he was staying at near Llanrhystud has gone viral.

Comedian Tiernan Douieb was surprised when he tried a mystery button on a remote control in his AirBnB accommodation and was rewarded with a very Welsh projection - a red dragon which appeared on the wall.

"We are staying in an AirBnB in deepest Wales for the week," he tweeted from his @tiernandouieb account.

"I have pressed a button on a remote with no idea what it was for, and it amazingly does this."

Liked more than 29,000 times, and with several thousand retweets from celebrities such as Broadway star Lin-Manuel Miranda and British actor Nick Frost, the London-born comedian - whose grandfather was Welsh - has been inundated with hundreds of requests from fans wanting to know where the house was.

But for the sake of privacy for himself and the holiday home’s owners, Tiernan chose not to divulge its exact location.
