An Aberystwyth man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with possessing a sock containing a glass ball.
Lee Southan, of 3 Bridge Street, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on 11 August.
The 40-year-old is charged with the possession of an offensive weapon – a sock containing a glass ball – on Bridge Street, Aberystwyth on 9 August.
No plea was entered at the hearing.
Southan is next due to appear before Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 11 September.
He was remanded in custody by magistrates until that hearing date.
