An assault charge against an Aberystwyth woman has been dismissed following a trial date.

Cheryl Rix, of Room 5, 13 Corporation Street has been accused of assaulting Meicha Harvey on Penmaesglas Road in Aberystwyth on 16 September this year.

The 39-year-old had pleaded not guilty to the charge at an earlier hearing and was found not guilty with no evidence offered by the prosecution at a hearing at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 21 December.
