A Cardigan man who pleaded guilty to assault and criminal damage has been handed an alcohol ban as part of a community order.
Michael Harries, of 28 The Ridgeway, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 7 October.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting Barry Strang in Pendre, Cardigan on 14 May this year.
Harries also admitted damaging property belonging to Mr Strang on the same day.
Magistrates handed Harries a community order to include 90 days of alcohol abstinence and monitoring.
Harries must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £114 victim fund surcharge.
