A Ponterwyd teenager has been banned from the road for failing to provide a specimen to police.
Alex Spollen, of Brynbras, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a sample of breath on 31 December in Aberystwyth when he appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on 17 January.
The 19-year-old was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £300.
He must pay £85 prosecution costs and a £120 surcharge to fund victim services.
