A RHYDYFELIN sex offender who failed to tell authorities he was going abroad has been handed 100 hours of unpaid work by magistrates.

Christian Taylor, of Flat 14, Plas Tanybwlch, failed to notify a period of foreign travel within seven days, Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court heard last week, as part of the terms of being on the sex offenders register.

The 39-year-old was handed 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay £85 costs and a £114 surcharge.
