An Ystumtuen 19-year-old will be sentenced at Crown Court next month after appearing in court to plead guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a crash in Aberystwyth in November.

Jonah Lisbon Neal, of Pantycwarel, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 12 August.

The 19-year-old pleaded guilty at the hearing to a charge of causing serious injury to Peter Glyn Williams by dangerous driving on the A44 at Aberystwyth on 15 November last year.

Neal is due to be sentenced for the offence at Swansea Crown Court on 2 September.

He was remanded on unconditional bail by magistrates until that hearing date, and magistrates also handed him an interim disqualification from driving until sentencing.
