FIVE spirited cyclists from the Newcastle Emlyn and Llandysul areas – Dylan Walters, Gareth James, Neal Jones, Roy Lewis and Lyn James – took part in a 12-hour spinathon aiming to raise over £1,000 for Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales.

The spinathon, took place at Tesco, Cardigan, and each cyclist cycled for four hours.

This training will help them for their Paris to London Cycle Challenge in September. “We’ll be leaving Crystal Palace in London and cycling 300 miles over a period of four days when we will arrive at the Eiffel Tower in Paris,” said Dylan.

“It’s a new venture for the five of us and any training we can do will help us prepare for this marathon cycle.”
